Incharge - SQA

• Execute supplier quality strategies defined by Head SQA to ensure alignment with plant quality objectives.
• Support supplier evaluation and selection processes through data collection and validation of quality performance.
• Participate in supplier development activities by ensuring compliance to defined quality standards and specifications.
• Assist in implementing supplier audit schedules and ensuring audit findings are closed effectively.
• Ensure adherence to QMS requirements in all supplier quality activities at operational level.
• Monitor incoming rejection levels and report Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) related to supplier defects.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing rejection rates and improving supplier quality performance.
• Ensure only conforming materials are released to production to meet customer quality expectations.
• Provide input data for supplier performance ratings impacting cost, delivery, and quality decision
• Assist in reducing production downtime caused by supplier-related material issues.
• Support quick resolution of supplier issues to avoid impact on production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspected materials to meet customer audit requirements.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components as per defined inspection standards.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) verification and report deviations.
• Support Supplier APQP activities by reviewing documentation and monitoring compliance.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for rejected materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in supplier audits and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and supplier quality data accurately.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, and SCM for material disposition decisions.
• Support implementation of improvement actions to reduce rejection and inspection effort.
• Participate in Quality Control Circles (QCC) and lean initiatives.
• Coordinate with inspection team members to ensure smooth incoming inspection activities.
