Job Description & summary: A Career with in.........................

Responsibilities:

• Looking for strong DB Reliability Engineering candidate (3-6 yrs band)
• Must have strong skillset on MySQL DBA + Linux OS + Automation tools (Chef/Ansible/Shell scripting)
• Hands on experience on HA tools like Tungsten/ Keepalived
• Knowledge and experience in AWS SRE and Config Mgmt are added advantage
• Experienced with MySQL Enterprise Versions Products and should have performed MySQL Upgrades & applied patched
• Hands-on experience on migration from MySQL to Maria and vice-versa.
• Configuring & troubleshooting of MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM), Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM)
• Strong hold on MySQL Enterprise backups & logical backups ( mysqldump / mysqlpump )
• InnoDB Cluster & Master-Slave replication configurations & troubleshooting, MySQL Enterprise Audit, Encryption & keyring
• Open source HA tools like keepalived / tungstun
• Collaborate with team to develop high-performance database functionalities; should be able to resolve MySQL Performance Issues
• Extensive exposure to public cloud (AWS/Azure) to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues
• Good communication skill
• Ability to work independently without handholding
• Open to learn new skills and have a good attitude. Secondary Skills: ==============
• Knowledge of NoSQL DB (Mongo) will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Ensure all database programs meet organization & performance requirements
• User management, space management & shell scripting
• Close coordination & planning with Client & Project sub-teams
