Job Description & Summary: As an Associate or Senior Associate in the GenAI Experience Lab, you will design and build generative AI solutions aligned with our priority sectors and competencies. You will work hands-on across the full stack, using modern GenAI techniques and AI-assisted tools to build and ship working software. Building proofs of concept is a secondary part of the role, used to test ideas before they are taken forward. You will also support client workshops and internal upskilling with demos and reusable components. PwC India's GenAI Experience Lab designs and builds generative AI solutions for clients in the sectors and competencies the firm focuses on. We also run workshops to train client and internal teams on GenAI, and build proofs of concept to test ideas before they are taken forward.

Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_GenAI Developers_Alliances_IFS_Gurgaon/Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Design and build GenAI solutions aligned with priority sectors and competencies, from problem definition to deployable software.
• Develop full stack applications: front-end (React/Next.js, TypeScript) and back-end/APIs (Python FastAPI and/or Node).
• Implement core GenAI patterns: RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, structured outputs, function/tool calling, streaming, model integration.
• Build retrieval layers including chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, re-ranking; set up vector databases and knowledge graphs.
• Integrate model providers and cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI) and open-weight models.
• Build agent workflows using LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, v0, Lovable, Bolt, Replit.
• Build proofs of concept and demos to test ideas and support client conversations.
• Support client workshops and internal upskilling with demos, sample apps, and reusable components.

Mandatory skill sets:

• ~3–8 years in software development, with at least 3 years hands-on building GenAI solutions and POCs.
• Strong full-stack skills: front-end (React / Next.js, TypeScript) and back-end (Python FastAPI and/or Node), REST / GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications: RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, function and tool calling, and at least one agent framework.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted / vibe-coding tools.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure / AWS / GCP) and its AI services.
• Comfortable with Git, Docker, and standard development workflows.

Preferred skill sets:

• Experience with advanced RAG (re-ranking, GraphRAG, agentic RAG) and multi-agent patterns.
• Experience with document AI or vision (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence, GPT-4o / Gemini vision).
• Familiarity with LLMOps and evaluation tooling (LangSmith, LangFuse, MLflow), and cloud certifications.
• Experience supporting client demos or workshops.

Years of experience required: 3–8 years total software development experience, with 3+ years specifically in GenAI development.

Education qualification:

• B.Tech in Computer Science / IT (preferred).
• MBA in a related field from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, MDI) is an added advantage.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams.
