Job Description

• Responsible for quality assurance of purchased raw materials of mechanical parts i.e.Sheet Metal and its production process.
• Identify, Plan and driving the quality improvement projects to address the chronic and critical quality issues of raw materials based on the inputs from the stakeholders
• Plan, execute, oversee the inspection of raw materials to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
• Investigate product complaints, identify root cause, and reported quality issues within the CFT team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer, and warranty) and instigate permanent corrective actions.
• Act as a key contact for Global & Regional vendors and purchasing functions by coordinating for Vendor management processes and Supplier Quality strategy initiatives to improve the quality levels of purchased parts.
• Enabling safe launch inspection process for new parts for incident free launches.

• Documentation of defect analysis with 8D report on TRC and MRC for closure.
• Use problem logs to identify and report the recurring issues to ensure the closure accordance to the company guidelines.
• Monitoring the KPIs related to complaint management, inspection, and define measures to achieve the KPIs.
• Active Participation in the Process FMEA's, Process audit and Supplier Assessment.
• Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis
• Work with internal & external stakeholders to resolve and prevent the quality issues.

Qualifications

B.E in Engineering in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics or relevant

Additional Information

• Experience in manufacturing process of mechanical parts - Sheetmetal, Stamped drawn parts (SDP), Dies & Tools.
• Good knowledge and experience in Problem solving tools (8D, A3PSS, Shainin etc..).
• Demonstrated knowledge of implementing best practices on defect management processes and ability to drive quality initiatives within the supply chain.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
• Knowledge and hands on experience on SAP, QMS, PPAP and IATF
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
