In-house Assessor - SBI General Insurance

Below are the roles and responsibilities for the job:

Claims Processing:

-Process claims and monitor outstanding claims to achieve defined metrics of the department

- Monitor claims leakage and take necessary actions to ensure minimization of the same

- Survey and process the motor claims intimated in the assigned location to settle the same within TAT

- Contact every claimant to understand claims nature and update the same in the system

Claims Cost Control

- Follow loss minimization activities to reduce claims cost

- Negotiate cost with the repairer in just and fair manner to control cost with quality

- Conduct stringent scrutiny of assessment for the claims assessed by the external surveyors to avoid any false

claims

Audit & Compliance

- Maintain strict adherence to approved financial authority for assessment certification and claim approval

- Audit Score (Internal and External)

- Assess and consider all kinds of risk to make informed

decisions

Process Efficiency

- Update the system of indemnity & expense reserves in system within TAT as prescribed in revised SOP to adhere to guidelines

- Manage delivery order TATs as per agreed timelines and monitor the same for External surveyors

- Perform cost control measures by strict scrutiny of the files received for processing, approving both internal

assessors / external surveyors
