Import & Logistic Cordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate packing lists, shipment data, and cargo readiness tracking.
• Manage booking processes and liaise with shipping teams for timely dispatch.
• Monitor vendor production, dispatches, and shipment schedules.
• Track shipments from origin to destination, including transit exceptions.
• Coordinate customs clearance and cargo release activities.
• Monitor cargo movement from port/warehouse to final delivery points.
• Track finished goods (FG) movement and ensure POD closure.
• Maintain logistics MIS, shipment trackers, and visibility reports.
• Drive action closures from operational meetings and reviews.
• Identify, escalate, and support resolution of logistics exceptions.
• Track container returns and post-delivery closure activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic knowledge of import/export and shipping processes.
• Logistics Operation
• Familiarity with Packing Lists, invoices, Bills of Lading and shipping documentation.
• Basic understanding of vessel schedules, shipment tracking and customs clearance.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and data trackers.
• Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Good communication with vendors, service providers and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of Incoterms is preferred.
