Import Executive

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance of goods through customs.
• Prepare and process import documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws related to imports, including DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels at warehouses by tracking stock movements, monitoring storage capacity, and coordinating with logistics providers.

Job Requirements :

• 3-5 years' experience in import-export operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of custom clearance procedures and regulations (DGFT).
• Proficiency in preparing various types of import documentation (e.g., commercial invoice, bill of lading).
• Experience working with freight forwarders or third-party logistics providers.
