Import And Export Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Import & Export Executive to manage and coordinate international trade operations, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and facilitate smooth import and export of non ferrous commodities mainly scrap and finished products. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of international logistics, documentation, customs procedures, and foreign trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Import Management

* Day to day coordination for imports and export with suppliers and customers.

* Handle import documentation including Bill of Entry, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and Shipping Documents.

* Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government authorities.

* Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely clearance of imported goods.

Export Management

* Manage end-to-end export processes for copper tubes and other copper products.

* Prepare export documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, and export declarations.

* Coordinate with logistics partners for timely shipment and delivery.

* Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

* Ensure adherence to DGFT, Customs, GST, RBI, and international trade regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions.

* Stay updated on foreign trade policies, duty structures, and regulatory changes.

Logistics & Coordination

* Coordinate with production, procurement, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of orders.

* Track shipments and provide regular updates to management and customers.

* Resolve logistics, customs, and documentation-related issues promptly.

Vendor & Customer Management

* Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents

* Negotiate freight rates and logistics costs to optimize expenses.
