About this role
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with DGFT regulations.
- Prepare and process various documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, Bill of Entry, Checklist, certificates of origin, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with Shipper/ Consignee to clear goods through customs.
- Ensure timely submission of documents to banks for letter of credit (LC) opening and negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of imports and exports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3-8 years' experience in import & export industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Custom Clearance, DGFT rules & regulations.
- Proficiency in EXIM software like CHA/CIFS/EPCG/E way bill generation etc.
