Implementation Engineer

We are looking for an Implementation Engineer who can work across software engineering, platform implementation, API integrations, and customer delivery. You will collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to configure, customise, integrate, troubleshoot, and deploy banking platforms into production. This role combines coding, integrations, product configuration, and customer-facing technical implementation.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Platform Implementation:

• Configure and implement customer solutions on LOS and DAO platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations.
• Build backend services, APIs, utilities, and data transformation components using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop integrations with banking systems and third-party APIs.
• Build automation scripts to streamline implementation workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues across APIs, databases, integrations, and application layers.

Customer Delivery:

• Participate in implementation workshops, product configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
• Understand customer workflows and configure platform capabilities accordingly.
• Support SIT, UAT, production readiness, and go-live.
• Troubleshoot API, integration, data, and environment issues with customer technical teams.
• Communicate technical solutions, risks, and dependencies with technical and business stakeholders.
• Gradually own customer-facing implementation workstreams.

Engineering Practices:

• Write production-quality code and maintain shared platform components.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Debug existing codebases and improve reusable platform functionality.
• Follow engineering best practices for testing, documentation, and maintainability.

AI-Assisted Development:

• Use AI tools to accelerate debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Validate AI-generated code with sound engineering judgment.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation productivity using AI-assisted workflows.

• Credit bureau, payment, funding, or e-signature integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Education:

• B. E. /B. Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in Software Engineering, Implementation Engineering, Integration Engineering, or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong hands-on coding experience is required.
