The position will be part of Sapiens Property & Casualty Insurance for North America division.
Description:
The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for independently configuring and implementing simple to medium complexity level customer requirements in enterprise applications for insurance customers. The role requires a strong techno-functional orientation, combining system configuration, analytical problem solving, and collaboration with product, AI, DevOps, SCS teams to ensure successful implementations.
The position involves working with rule engines, configurable platforms, data driven logic, and AI enabled features, supporting modern SaaS delivery models and continuous product evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of enterprise applications for insurance customers
- Understand design specifications and implement them using application and product configuration capabilities
- Configure business rules, calculations, and formulas using an object-oriented rule engine
- Perform detailed Log Analysis for understanding of the issues
- Support configuration and rollout of AI enabled features such as validations, recommendations, or automated decisioning (where applicable)
- Design, execute, and document unit test cases for configured functionality
- Validate AI driven or rules-based outputs against defined business logic
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product, AI/Engineering, and QA teams
- Support implementation activities across environments in a cloud hosted / SaaS setup
- Additionally, the role may involve supporting frontend development aligned with UI/UX specifications, with an understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and general UI principles.
Must Have Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 3-5 years of experience in implementation of enterprise business applications, preferably in: Insurance, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing
Technical & Functional Skills
- Object-oriented concepts
- Multitier and SaaS-based application architectures
- SQL queries and data analysis
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Web Services / SOAP, REST, JSON
- GitHub / Bitbucket / Azure Repos
- API integration using low-code tools
- AI-enabled features (AI-driven validations, recommendations, or decisioning)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent
- MBA
Personal Attributes
- Quick learner and self-starter
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
- Team player, ready to take on new challenges in evolving SaaS and AI driven environments
Preferred / Good to Have
- Any Insurance Certification (preferred)
- Experience in the insurance domain, especially non-life insurance
- Exposure to Policy Administration Systems such as: IDIT, Policy400, Genesys, E-Bao Tech, FirstGen, Premia, INGENIUM, ALIS, Life-Asia
- Exposure to AI driven validations, recommendations, or decision support systems
- Low code / no code configuration platforms
- Automation frameworks or rule-based engines in enterprise products
