Role & responsibilities

• Individual with strong experience in- Global Mobility, Immigration Consultation, International Mobility Consultation , Management of UK Employment Visa
• The successful candidate ensures that JLR complies with internal and external regulations. Duties include working with management, HR Direct and the off-shore recruitment team to identify regulatory risks and design internal controls to ensure compliance within the JLR.
• Youll be responsible for monitoring and ensuring recruitment activities are compliant across multiple work streams, including but not limited to Internal advertising campaigns, the selection process, and Visa and onboarding.
• Conduct scheduled audits and identify training requirements.
• Manage training delivery and monitor performance. Youll help with continuous improvement activity to reduce time to offer and improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
• As Recruitment Compliance and Immigration Consultant, you will proactively partner with the HR teams, including the JLR Immigration UK team, to ensure compliance.
• This role will develop relationships with all stakeholders internally within TA, the broader HR function, and business leads.
• Work with the Recruitment delivery manager and JLR Immigration team to develop the Compliance programme plan for the off- shore recruitment team . This will involve developing, designing and maintaining stakeholder reporting packs; monitoring the progress of the Compliance; and maintaining discipline in activity tracking and reporting
• Promote and develop a culture of doing business in the right way; driving continuous improvement of compliance practices; and working alongside key stakeholders to advise and support on compliance-related matters
• Cascade communications on Compliance matters from senior management/ UK Immigration team
• Deliver the monitoring framework to support compliance controls and reporting/escalating of non-compliance
• Ensure the delivery of training programmes for the off-shore team
• Keeping the off-shore team updated on the UK/Ireland legislations and JLR Diversity and Inclusion strategy and employee branding
• Chasing candidates and Consultants for outstanding documentation including both verbally and via email.
• Answering any questions from Consultants - with a continued focus on raising the general level of safeguarding and compliance knowledge across all teams.
• Monitoring quality standards across all live recruitment activity, ensuring that audit checks are conducted
• Identifying trends and support in the implantation of corrective action when required
• Develop and maintain work instructions
• Manage the visa process and all audit related activities for internal moves and external hires
• Ensure the candidate tracking system is utilised to produce positive audit results
• Utilize reporting from the candidate tracking system to support recruitment activities
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
• Proven experience of recruitment compliance activites and UK/Ireland immigration knowledge i.e Right to work and Identy checks, UK and Ireland DBS checks
• Strong understanding of HR policies/ procedures and employment law/practices
• Data input and database maintenance.
• Weekly reports to Management.
• Must be able to liaise and build networks with internal stakeholders and must be positive, decisive, driven and forward thinking
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Data driven and analytical, comfortable working with data
• Focused on driving continuous improvement opportunities within team
• Understanding of recruiting SLA's ensuring compliant delivery
• Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret business requirements and information
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, problem solve while maintaining flexibility
• Experienced in taking ownership and supporting the resolution of issues
• Ability to adjust to multiple task demands and constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints. Demonstrable skills in organisation and prioritising workloads; experience in motivating and managing to deliver positive outcomes
