Software Engineer (Python | SQL | Azure Function Apps)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Azure Function Apps, and Azure cloud services to develop, automate, and support scalable enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in application development, automation, cloud integration, and deployment best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, APIs, and automation solutions using Python.
• Design, optimize, and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Build and support Azure Function Apps and serverless solutions.
• Develop Excel-based automation solutions using Python libraries such as Pandas and OpenPyXL.
• Integrate applications with databases, Azure services, and enterprise platforms.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Perform code reviews,testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with Azure Function Apps and Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Blob Storage, Logic Apps, Key Vault, and related Azure components.
• Experience in Excel automation using Python.
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub for source code management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, debugging, and software development best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, or Azure data engineering services.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
• Exposure to Azure Service Bus, API Management, Azure Data Factory, or Power BI.
• Understanding of DevOps, monitoring, and cloud security best practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
