Job Description

We are looking for a Control Engineer with experience in the Machine Tool Industry, particularly in CNC/VMC machine installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance.

The candidate should have expertise in at least two of the following CNC controller platforms: Siemens, Fanuc or Mitsubishi, along with hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Controls. The candidate should also be willing to travel independently across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and erection of CNC and VMC machines.
• Service and maintenance of CNC machines and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues in CNC machines.
• Diagnose and resolve CNC machine breakdowns.
• Support preventive maintenance activities.
• Handle customer technical requirements and provide service support.
• Coordinate with customers regarding spare parts requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and service records.
• Support installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance activities across different regions of India.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Siemens CNC controllers, including 802D / 828D / 840D / SINUMERIK ONE.
• Experience with Fanuc CNC controllers, including 0i / 18i / 21i / 31i.
• Experience with Mitsubishi CNC controllers, including M60 / M70 / M80.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming.
• Experience with Fanuc Ladder and Siemens STEP 7.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot PLC I/O parameters.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and control system maintenance of CNC machines.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance of CNC machines.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of CNC part programming – G Codes, M Codes, T Codes and S Codes will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Safety Integrated (SI) functions will be an added advantage.

Customer Service Skills

• Ability to handle customers across different regions of India.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Hindi knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates should have a minimum of 8–10 years of hands-on experience in:

CNC Machine Installation | Commissioning | Servicing | Maintenance | CNC Controls | PLC Troubleshooting | Electrical Controls | Machine Tool Industry

Candidates with experience in at least two CNC controller platforms – Siemens / Fanuc / Mitsubishi will be considered.

Education

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
