Key Responsibilities Study Management & Leadership

• Direct Studies: Serve as the Study Director or Principal Investigator for complex, non-rodent general toxicology, safety pharmacology, and IND-enabling studies.
• Oversee Programs: Plan, lead, and monitor end-to-end execution of non-rodent in-vivo research programs.
• Team Supervision: Guide and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of research associates, scientists, and veterinary professionals.

Protocol & Report Authoring

• Develop Protocols: Draft, review, and finalize high-quality study plans and experimental designs aligned with global standards.
• Data Interpretation: Analyze and evaluate complex toxicological, pathology, and bio-analytical findings.
• Author Reports: Compile comprehensive, submission-ready regulatory study reports for global filings (such as the USFDA or EMA).

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Maintain GLP: Ensure absolute compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) rules across all testing workflows.
• Animal Welfare: Enforce strict adherence to IAEC, CPCSEA, and AAALAC compliance frameworks for animal care.
• Audit Support: Represent the non-rodent facility during internal quality assessments and external regulatory inspections.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Ph.D. or Master's degree (M.V.Sc / M.Pharm / M.Sc) in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Veterinary Science, or a related Life Sciences field.
• Expertise: Deep hands-on experience handling large animal/non-rodent biological systems (Dogs and minipigs).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of international guidelines (OECD, ICH, FDA) governing preclinical drug safety.
