Inside Sales Engineer
Location: Bangalore Experience: 5-7 years
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries (technical and commercial) and prepare accurate sizing, selection and proposals.
- Prepare detailed project costing and analyse competitor offerings.
- Handle technical and commercial queries from customers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, Outside Sales and Sales Representatives to meet customer needs.
- Hand over order details (CORB) to Project Management and support post-order technical issues.
- Keep Salesforce updated regularly.
Main Skills
- Technical sales experience in control valves or other mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of control valve basics, sizing and applications.
- Understanding of power plant, oil gas, desalination and pulp paper processes.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce preferred.
Experience Education
- B.E. Mechanical (minimum).
- 5-7 years of related industry experience.
- Oil gas industry experience preferred; power plant knowledge desirable.
Soft Skills
- Fluent English (verbal and written) with good email and phone etiquette.
- Able to present clearly to customers and management.
- Good time management and teamwork
