Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (SME) Image Data & Writing About the Project The project involves collecting images from publicly accessible sources across six domains, including patent drawings, medical and satellite imagery. Each image must have relevant metadata and a clear, accurate written description to support AI training. Key Responsibilities • Identify and review relevant image sources for the assigned domain. • Collect and assess image samples, metadata, captions, and related information. • Write clear and accurate descriptions for images. • Review AI-generated descriptions and identify errors, repetitive content, or generic wording. • Rewrite or create descriptions from scratch wherever required to ensure quality and accuracy. • Check descriptions for grammar, clarity, completeness, and domain-specific accuracy. • Estimate data availability and recommend suitable sources for the project. • Support the development of writing guidelines and quality standards. • Flag potential licensing or source-access issues to the concerned team. Required Skills • Strong subject matter expertise in the assigned domain. • Excellent written English and strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. • Strong attention to detail and quality-checking skills. • Good research and analytical skills. • Comfortable working with online databases and spreadsheets. • Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage. Preferred Experience • Experience in content writing, technical writing, scientific writing, annotation, or quality control is preferred. • Ideal Candidate: Someone who can independently review image descriptions, identify weak or repetitive AI-generated content, and rewrite it into clear, accurate, and client-ready descriptions.
