Role Description The IGCSE Maths Teacher will design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum for secondary school learners. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs. The teacher will participate in curriculum development, maintain accurate records of student performance, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes. Additional duties involve mentoring students, communicating with families about academic progress, and contributing to school activities and professional development initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Laurel High Global School, Rajahmundry.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach IGCSE-level concepts clearly and confidently.
• Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for secondary or IGCSE mathematics courses.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certifications or licenses applicable to IGCSE or equivalent international curricula.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Experience with formative and summative assessment strategies and use of data to improve learning outcomes.
