ICU Staff Nurse

Role & responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other ICU equipment.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and medication charts.
• Follow infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly to the treating doctor.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Sc Nursing / DGNM with Nursing Council Registration
• Good communication skills
