ICT & Design Teacher

Job Summary

Develop and refine MYP Subject Group Overviews (SGOs), unit plans and lesson plans aligned with IB philosophy and MYP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate engaging, concept-driven, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the MYP Design Cycle.
• Plan and assess learning using MYP objectives/criteria and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop students' subject specific and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
• Support students with varying proficiency levels through differentiation.
• Promote innovation, problem solving and responsible and ethical use of technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curriculum, support interdisciplinary learning, participate in assessment moderation, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the MYP programme.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Design, Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
