ICE CREAM - Senior Technical

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Technical professional to oversee and improve ice cream manufacturing processes, product quality, and new product development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, standardise, and improve ice cream formulations and recipes.

Monitor and optimise ice cream manufacturing processes, including pasteurisation, homogenisation, ageing, freezing, and hardening.

Ensure consistent product quality, taste, texture, and shelf life.

Troubleshoot technical issues related to production, processing, and product quality.

Conduct new product development, formulation trials, and product improvement activities.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI standards.

Monitor raw material quality and optimise ingredient utilisation.

Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce wastage.

Maintain technical records, process parameters, and quality documentation.

Train and guide production personnel on technical processes and best practices.

Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of ice cream manufacturing and processing.

Expertise in ice cream formulation, recipe standardisation, and ingredient functionality.

Practical knowledge of processing equipment and freezing systems.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI requirements.

Experience in new product development and process optimisation.

Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to maintain product consistency and achieve production targets.
