IBM Order Management System Consultant - 3 to 6 years Experience Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and implement IBM Sterling OMS solutions based on business requirements- Develop and customize order management workflows, business rules, and integrations- Work on order lifecycle management including order capture, inventory visibility, fulfillment,and returns- Integrate IBM OMS with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, POS, warehouse management,payment gateways)- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to order processing and systemperformance- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure solution quality- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesRequired Skills- 3-6 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS)- Strong understanding of order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment processes- Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, and Web Services (REST/SOAP)- Familiarity with OMS configuration tools, business rule engines, and workflow customization- Experience integrating OMS with third-party systems (ERP, WMS, POS)- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases- Good understanding of retail/e-commerce order management processes- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain domains
