IBM MQ Admin

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage IBM MQ Series (IBM App Connect Enterprise) queues, topics, and subscriptions to ensure reliable message processing.
• Monitor queue performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and resource utilization to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues related to message delivery failures or errors by analyzing logs, debugging techniques, and collaborating with development teams.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including backups, archiving, and optimization of the MQ environment.

Job Requirements :

• 6-13 years of experience in managing large-scale messaging systems like IBM MQ Series (IBM App Connect Enterprise).
• Strong understanding of AIX operating system administration on IBM Power Systems.
• Experience with Docker containerization technology for deploying applications on Linux platforms (e.g., Microsoft Windows).
• Proficiency in working with IBM DB2 databases for storing and retrieving messages.
