IBM MQ Admin

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage IBM MQ Series (IBM App Connect Enterprise) queues, topics, and subscriptions to ensure efficient message processing.
• Monitor queue performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and resource utilization to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues related to message delivery failures or delays by analyzing logs and debugging techniques.
• Collaborate with development teams to design scalable messaging solutions using Kafka or other distributed systems.

Job Requirements :

• 6-12.5 years of experience in IT Services & Consulting industry with expertise in IBM DB2/MQ Administration.
• Strong understanding of IBM App Connect Enterprise (formerly known as IBM Integration Bus) architecture and its components (e.g., queues, topics).
• Proficiency in managing large-scale enterprise environments with high availability requirements.
• Experience working on AIX operating system administration tasks such as monitoring tools installation/configuration.
