About this role
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IBM FileNet Developer Administrator with 5-9 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM FileNet P8 administration and development, along with hands-on experience in Java/.NET development, REST API services, containerized deployments, and database management. The role involves delivering scalable document management solutions, maintaining FileNet environments, and contributing to modern AI-enabled enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities - IBM FileNet Administration - Administer and maintain IBM FileNet P8 / Content Platform Engine (CPE) environments.
- Manage FileNet Content Manager configurations, object stores, document classes, storage areas, and security settings.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and troubleshoot platform-related issues.
- Perform upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and environment support activities.
- Development Integration - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java or .NET technologies.
- Develop, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and services for enterprise integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations between FileNet and external business applications.
- Support modern application development practices including API-first architecture and service-oriented design.
- Containerization Platform Engineering - Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads to Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure scalable and secure deployments.
- Support CI/CD and deployment automation initiatives.
- Database AI Ecosystem Support - Manage and support IBM DB2 (within the FileNet ecosystem) and/or PostgreSQL databases.
- Work with structured and unstructured enterprise content repositories.
- Contribute to initiatives involving Vector Databases, LLMs, and AI-powered document processing solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design activities.
