Job Description We are seeking an experienced

IBM ClearCase Administrator with strong expertise in ClearCase administration, architecture, migration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in managing enterprise-scale ClearCase environments, performing migrations, and ensuring seamless repository operations across distributed teams.

Must Have

• Minimum

5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM ClearCase Administration and Architecture.

• Strong expertise in

IBM ClearCase installation, configuration, and server setup .

• Proven experience in:
• Server migration and domain migration activities.
• VOB (Versioned Object Base) migration.
• View migration (Dynamic and Snapshot Views).
• Deep understanding of

ClearCase Multisite Architecture and replication mechanisms.

• Strong troubleshooting expertise in:
• Build-related issues.
• Replication issues.
• Performance bottlenecks.
• Repository-related problems.
• Hands-on experience with

Batch Scripting and

PowerShell Scripting for:

• VOB migration.
• View migration.
• Automation of administrative and operational tasks.
• Ability to perform

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve critical production issues.

• Experience in defining migration strategies, risk mitigation plans, and rollback procedures.

Good to Have

• Experience in designing scalable

SCM (Software Configuration Management) architectures and infrastructure optimization.

• Exposure to replication topology design and conflict resolution strategies.
• Strong understanding of:
• Branching strategies.
• Version control best practices.
• Build environment stabilization.
• Release management workflows.
• Experience integrating ClearCase with

CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines.

• Hands-on experience managing ClearCase environments on

Windows and/or Linux platforms.

• Knowledge of SCM governance, compliance requirements, and enterprise standards.

Added Advantage

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with distributed

ClearCase Multisite implementations.

• Exposure to migration projects involving

ClearCase to modern SCM tools such as Git or SVN.

• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and performance tuning tools.
• Ability to define and implement SCM governance frameworks and best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working in audit and compliance-driven environments, including
