Job Description:

The IAM OKTA Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and security of Identity and Access Management IAM solutions primarily focused on OKTA This role involves designing and executing test plans validating integrations and ensuring compliance with security and performance standards

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for OKTA IAM implementations
Perform functional integration and regression testing for IAM workflows including Single SignOn SSO MultiFactor Authentication MFA and RoleBased Access Control RBAC
Validate identity federation and API integrations between OKTA and enterprise applications
Conduct security and compliance testing to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards
Collaborate with IAM engineers developers and business teams to identify and resolve defects
Automate test scripts for IAM processes using tools like Selenium Postman or similar frameworks
Document test results defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
Stay updated on IAM best practices OKTA platform updates and emerging security trends

Required Skills/Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
3 years of experience in Quality Assurance preferably in IAM or cybersecurity domains
Strong understanding of authentication protocols SAML OAuth OpenID Connect
Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages Python PowerShell or similar
Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure/GCP and IAM integrations

Familiarity of working with JIRA, ServiceNow

Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum process
Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Preferred Certifications
OKTA Certified Professional or OKTA Certified Consultant
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
