What are we looking for

Experience working on Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF)

Advanced knowledge and working experience in MS Excel and PPT

Strong programming experience Python

Data visualization experience- Power BI

Ability to understand, manage and navigate large datasets

Proficient in Time series Forecasting

Experience in Consumer Retail Supply Chain Demand Forecasting , Time Series forecasting, Location Planning, Assortment Planning, Demand Planning Retail Analytics

Strong communication and articulation skills in English

6-10 years professional experience working on Retail Analytics and Data science

3-4 years of working experience on Retail Demand Forecasting Planning

Experience managing junior team members handling stakeholders independently

Knowledge of other ML techniques like Classification, Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks, Dimensionality Reduction Techniques, Ensemble Modelling (random forest, boosted tree, etc.), Natural Language Processing, Forecasting

Ability to think creatively to solve real world business problems

Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment

Education:Masters in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics/Data Science or Mathematics, Operations Research/ Post graduate certification in Data Science/Business Analytics


Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems

Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures

The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads

Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture

The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments

Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams

Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
