HVAC Sales & Estimation Engineer

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed heat-load calculations and select appropriate HVAC equipment including VRF systems, chillers, pumps, and fans.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive technical submittals after contract award, and coordinate with consultants and the client to obtain all necessary approvals.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in HVAC projects.
• Meet with clients to understand project requirements and offer technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and sales proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales in coordination with the business development team.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and consultants.

Estimation Responsibilities:

• Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and technical submittals.
• Liaise with suppliers/vendors for accurate pricing of HVAC materials and equipment.
• Ensure all estimations are compliant with applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with the design and execution teams for seamless handover post-sales.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• HVAC sales and estimation experience
• Heat load calculations & HVAC equipment selection (VRF/Chillers)
• BOQ preparation & cost estimation
• Client & consultant coordination
• HVAC contracting background
• Value engineering and latest HVAC technology exposure
