Hvac Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Execute and manage HVAC projects, including VRF system installation and commissioning.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure project work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, material requirements, manpower, and site schedules.
• Ensure proper installation of indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, copper piping, and drainage systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure the timely availability of materials at the project site.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot site issues and coordinate with the technical team to resolve them.
• Prepare daily progress reports and provide regular project updates to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in HVAC project execution, installation, and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with VRF/VRV air conditioning systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC drawings, installation procedures, site supervision, and project coordination.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Candidates with experience in HVAC contracting, MEP projects, or turnkey engineering projects will be preferred.
