Job Title: HVAC Draftsman

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Draftsman with experience in the MEP/ HVAC industry to prepare detailed HVAC drawings, installation drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for commercial, residential, industrial, and other building projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, equipment layouts, and MEP coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC drawings, detailed drawings, and installation drawings as per project specifications and approved design drawings.
• Develop HVAC duct layout drawings, duct sizing, routing, and sectional details.
• Prepare chilled water piping layouts, refrigerant piping layouts, and condensate drain drawings.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site requirements, and approved material submittals.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations and redline markups.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and approved HVAC design criteria.
• Coordinate with HVAC engineers, site engineers, project managers, consultants, and installation teams.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM coordination is an advantage.
• Understanding of HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read HVAC design drawings, mechanical specifications, and equipment schedules.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 58 years of experience in HVAC drafting within the MEP/HVAC construction industry.
• Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple drawing revisions.
