Human Resources Intern - 6 months

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team in Bangalore.

This role will provide hands-on exposure to HR Operations, Recruitment Coordination, HR Projects, and Stakeholder Management. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the HR team and other stakeholders and get an opportunity to contribute to initiatives that improve employee experience and organisational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations

• Support day-to-day HR operational activities, including employee data management, documentation, and record maintenance.
• Assist in preparing HR reports and maintaining employee files.
• Ensure accuracy and timely updates of employee information in HR databases.
• Support the implementation of HR policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist the HR team with routine operational and administrative activities.

2. Recruitment & Hiring Coordination

• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
• Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, updates, and next steps.
• Assist with resume screening and candidate shortlisting.
• Maintain and update hiring trackers to ensure timely closure of open positions.
• Support hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
• Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the selection and onboarding process.

3. HR Projects & Initiatives

• Work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on new HR programs and initiatives.
• Support projects related to employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, and employee experience.
• Assist with research, data collection, analysis, and documentation for HR projects.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and project updates as required.
• Contribute creative ideas and support the timely execution of HR initiatives.

4. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely communication, follow-ups, and updates across stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving operational and coordination-related issues.
• Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and follow-up reports.
• Support HR reviews, meetings, presentations, and other team activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Postgraduate degree or currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Communication

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with candidates, employees, managers, and other stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with HRMS, ATS, or other HR software is an added advantage.
