Human Resource Officer

• Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

Coordinate store-level recruitment for on-role and third-party (3P) contractual staff, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and forecast hiring needs during peak seasons.

• Onboarding & Offboarding:

Manage joining formalities for new joinees, verify statutory documentation (identity, address, education, and date of birth proof), configure biometric entries, conduct induction briefings, and facilitate exit/separation processes.

• Attendance, Leave & Payroll Management:

Generate monthly biometric attendance reports, maintain leave trackers, cross-check attendance records, and coordinate salary disbursements and salary slip distributions with vendors and corporate payroll.

• 3P Vendor & Invoice Checking:

Oversee third-party vendor compliance, validating vendor invoices against attendance, gross salaries, basic pay, statutory deductions, and margins prior to payment approvals.

• Statutory Compliance & Audit Support:

Ensure full compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF), maintain statutory registers and abstracts, manage notice board displays, and coordinate inspections.

• Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:

Conduct regular store floor walks to connect with staff, address day-to-day employee queries, resolve grievances in coordination with store management, and handle disciplinary escalations.

• Training, Welfare & Engagement:

Coordinate store-level employee training sessions, maintain training logs, organize employee engagement initiatives, and ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and grooming standards.

• Personnel Records & Data Management:

Maintain updated physical personnel files and digital databases for all store employees, tracking status changes, internal transfers, and key HR metrics.
