Human Resource Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Identify manpower requirements in coordination with departmental heads and management.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
• Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, rules, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain employee files, appointment letters, employment agreements, and separation documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and workplace policies.
• Coordinate applicable statutory registrations, returns, contributions, and inspections with the relevant teams or consultants.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a postgraduate qualification in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations is preferred.
• Additional training in labour law compliance, industrial relations, or factory HR management will be an advantage.
• Typically 3-6 years of relevant HR experience, depending on the size and complexity of the manufacturing facility.
• Prior experience in chemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Experience in factory HR, contract labour management, industrial relations, and statutory compliance is desirable.
• Experience handling shift-based employees and shop-floor manpower is an advantage.
