Human Resource Manager

Role Objective:

A key objective of this position is to ensure efficient and compliant workforce management at manufacturing facilities in India, encompassing talent acquisition, statutory compliance, legal liaison, HR policy formulation, and fostering positive employee relations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree in human resources with at least 12 to 15 years of experience, with at least 5-6 of those years spent leading the plant HR activities.
• Compliance Coordinator: Ensure statutory compliance across manufacturing facilities and offices, including tracking legal cases and digitizing compliances.
• Talent Acquisition Specialist: Strategically plan and structure manpower needs for manufacturing facilities, collaborating with Talent Acquisition to efficiently fulfil vacancies.
• Employee Relations Manager: Cultivate positive employee relations, handling grievances, and leading HR during regulatory audits, while ensuring effective policy implementation.
• HR Operations Coordinator: Maintain secure employee records at manufacturing facilities and oversee labour contractors, coordinating with legal experts when needed.

Role & Responsibilities:

• The role involves active participation and anchoring of manpower planning and organizational structuring at manufacturing facilities in India.
• Responsible for coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team and actively engaging in fulfilling vacancies at the manufacturing facilities.
• One of the key responsibilities is to ensure that all new employees are effectively inducted and integrated into their respective functions.
• Safeguarding the personal files of all employees and FTEs in a secure manner at the manufacturing facilities will be essential.
• The role demands meticulous maintenance and updating of all employee records in Success Factors, adhering to the defined manner.
• Compliance with various legislations at manufacturing facilities, corporate office, and branch offices in India will be part of the role.
• Required to liaise with statutory authorities under various statutes.
• Tracking all legal cases until effective resolution and taking proactive measures to prevent potential litigations against the Company will be crucial.
• Close coordination with lawyer(s) and labour law consultants is expected.
• Implementing digitization of compliances is one of the key objectives.
• The role entails managing labour contractors and contract labour at manufacturing facilities.
• Ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and processes at manufacturing facilities will be a primary responsibility.
• Building a sound knowledge and understanding of all the regulatory requirements from an HR point of view is necessary.
• Prepare all HR policies and processes to comply with regulatory requirements and maintain records prudently.
• Leading the HR function during all regulatory audits will be an important aspect of the role, along with creating, approving, and maintaining all HR-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at plants.

• Manage team of 1-2 team members of HR function, reporting to General Manager HR.
