Human Resource Intern

Role & responsibilities

1. Employee Engagement

• Assist in designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and activities.
• Conduct employee engagement surveys and analyse employee feedback.
• Identify areas of improvement in employee satisfaction and workplace experience.
• Support initiatives related to employee well-being, recognition and appreciation.
• Coordinate employee engagement events, celebrations and internal communication activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations on engagement survey findings and action plans.

2. HR Policies Formulation & Documentation

• Assist in reviewing existing HR policies and identifying gaps or improvement areas.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on HR policies and industry best practices.
• Support the drafting and formulation of HR policies in alignment with organisational objectives.
• Assist in developing and updating HR policy documents, guidelines and SOPs.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to gather inputs for policy development.
• Support the communication and implementation of new or revised HR policies.
• Ensure policy documentation is organised and updated.

3. HR Research & Analysis

• Research emerging HR trends and employee engagement practices.
• Benchmark organisational HR practices against industry standards.
• Analyse employee feedback and identify actionable insights.
• Prepare HR reports, presentations and recommendations for management.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR teams.
• Coordinate with employees and department representatives to understand HR-related requirements.
• Support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives across the organisation.
