Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic HR Generalist to support end-to-end HR operations, employee engagement, talent acquisition, statutory compliance, and performance management for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive, heavy engineering, or industrial organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff and shop-floor positions.
• Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
• Conduct interviews, salary negotiations, and onboarding activities.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring metrics.

Employee Lifecycle Management

• Manage joining formalities, induction, and documentation.
• Maintain employee records and HRMS updates.
• Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.

Employee Engagement

• Plan employee engagement initiatives and cultural activities.
• Support employee grievance handling and conflict resolution.
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
• Drive retention initiatives.

Performance Management

• Coordinate appraisal cycles and performance reviews.
• Support goal setting and competency mapping.
• Track performance improvement plans where required.

Training & Development

• Identify training needs with department heads.
• Coordinate technical and behavioral training programs.
• Maintain training records and effectiveness reports.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Support audits related to HR documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll team for attendance and leave records.
• Maintain statutory records as per applicable regulations.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare monthly HR dashboards and reports.
• Track manpower, attrition, recruitment, and training metrics.
• Generate reports for management review.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of HR Operations and Employee Relations.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering Industry preferred.
• Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HRMS systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and plant operations.
