Human Resource Business Partner

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the HR SPOC and strategic partner for assigned business/function/region.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, manpower productivity and talent requirements.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and employee connect initiatives.
• Identify and proactively address attrition, employee relations and people-risk areas.
• Own the performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews and performance improvement plans.
• Support talent management, succession planning and career development initiatives.
• Partner with managers on organizational structure, role design and manpower optimization.
• Drive HR interventions based on people analytics and business data.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, statutory requirements and internal HR governance.
• Support resolution of employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits and other HR teams to deliver business requirements.
• Conduct regular branch/business visits and employee connects to understand ground-level people issues.
• Provide management with insights and recommendations on people trends, risks and organizational effectiveness.

Preferred candidate profile

• Atleast 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with BFSI, NBFC, Housing Finance or other high-volume businesses.
• Strong exposure to HRBP/HR Generalist roles with significant business-facing responsibilities.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and frontline/business teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution capabilities.
