Human Resource Business Partner - For Hub & Logistics

The Assistant Manager HRBP will partner with logistics and last-mile delivery operations to manage workforce planning, rider hiring, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations across Distribution Centers (DCs), hubs, and delivery locations. The role focuses on managing large blue-collar workforce such as delivery riders, warehouse associates, loaders, and supervisors, ensuring smooth manpower availability to support daily delivery targets.

Work closely with operations/business leaders to understand manpower requirements and workforce challenges.
Manage mass hiring for Delivery Riders, Warehouse Staff, and DC Operations teams.
Work closely with operations managers to forecast manpower needs based on delivery volumes.
Ensure zero manpower shortages during peak operations and festive seasons.
Track joining, deployment, and replacement hiring.
Act as the HR SPOC for assigned Distribution Centers (DCs).
Support hub managers and cluster managers in manpower management.
Ensure proper shift allocation and workforce availability for morning & evening loads.
Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and productivity.
Handle the complete employee lifecycle:
Joining & onboarding
Documentation verification
Training coordination
Attendance tracking
Exit management
Maintain updated records in HRMS systems.
Manage manpower vendors supplying riders or warehouse associates.
Ensure vendors comply with:
Labour laws
PF & ESIC compliance
Salary payments
Track vendor performance and manpower supply efficiency.
Address rider and warehouse staff grievances.
Conduct regular hub visits and employee interaction sessions.
Maintain positive employee relations to control attrition.
Handle disciplinary issues, misconduct cases, and investigations.
Ensure accurate attendance validation and payroll inputs.
Coordinate with payroll teams for salary processing.
Ensure compliance with:

Shops & Establishment
Labour Laws
Support during labour inspections and audits.
Track workforce productivity metrics such as:
Deliveries per rider
Rider utilization
Attendance percentage
Attrition rates
Work with operations managers to improve performance.

Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, retail, warehouse operations, or field workforce management preferred
