About the role: We are looking for a highly skilled
Integration / Data Engineer with ~5 years of experience to design, build, and support scalable integrations across enterprise HR platforms. The role focuses on leveraging
AWS serverless technologies to enable seamless data exchange between systems such as
Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, iCIMS , and other enterprise applications. You will work closely with Solution Architects, HR product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing integrations that drive operational efficiency and data reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy
scalable, serverless integration solutions using AWS services.
- Build and manage integrations using
API-based and file-based (batch/ETL) approaches .
- Develop backend logic using
Node.js or Python for data transformation, orchestration, and API services.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and business teams to translate
integration requirements into technical solutions .
- Manage and optimize
AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation) .
- Ensure
security, compliance, and data privacy in all integrations.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure
high availability and performance .
- Participate in
Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work across HR ecosystems to innovate, enhance employee and recruiter experience through reliable data flows.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in
AWS Serverless Architecture , including: 1. AWS Lambda 2. API Gateway 3. S3 4. IAM 5. CloudFormation Templates (CFT) 6. AWS Secrets Manager / Parameter Store
- Expertise in
API development and integration patterns (REST, JSON, webhooks)
- Hands-on experience in
Node.js or Python (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of: 1. Data transformation & integration patterns 2. Event-driven architecture 3. Error handling & retry mechanisms
- Experience in
file-based integrations (CSV, XML, JSON, SFTP)
- Knowledge of
web technologies (HTTP, REST, OAuth, JWT, TLS)
- Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of
security and compliance principles in cloud-based integrations
Required Skills (Must Have) along with necessary Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Programming and API.
- Have Techno Functional expertise knowledge HR Tech and Integration.
- Experience of working through Agile methodology
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
- Good Exposure towards working in highly matrixed setup of Global MNCs
- Experience in design thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Have strong collaborative mindset.
Good to Have: 1. Exposure to
HR Technology ecosystems (Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, iCIMS, etc.) 2. Understanding of
Core HR data models, employee lifecycle, and integrations Must-Have Skills & Experience
- ~5 years of experience in
Integration Engineering / Data Engineering / Backend Development
- Proven experience in building
API-led integrations and microservices
- Hands-on experience with
AWS serverless stack (mandatory)
- Strong
programming and scripting skills (Node.js or Python)
- Experience working in
Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in
global, matrixed enterprise environments
- Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integration services to support HR systems
- Perform enhancements and support for
existing integrations
- Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to deliver new interfaces and features
- Participate in production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
- Ensure documentation and adherence to integration standards and best practices
