HR Specialist (Japanese Language )

Role & responsibilities

• Execute routine HR transactions including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and benefits setup.
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries on HR policies, pay, benefits, leaves, performance management, and company guidelines via Workday Help/ServiceNow; escalate when required: escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Contribute to process documentation, SOP updates, and knowledge base documentation to drive efficiency in a tiered service delivery model
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and other HR functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Participate in projects and provide input from an operational perspective.
• Manage workload effectively, prioritizing based on business needs.
• Japanese Language Proficient JLPT N1 OR JLPT N2 Only required (Mandatory )

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in HR operations strong HR operations/Shared Services experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and HR ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Workday Help). - preferred no mandatory
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Demonstrates ethical behaviour and commitment to compliance.
