Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven HR Recruiter Intern to join our recruitment team in Pune.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client requirements and sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting the joining process.

The internship will be for 4 months, with an opportunity to be considered for a full-time HR Recruiter position with MatchLab Talent based on performance, learning ability, consistency, communication skills, and overall contribution during the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and Job Descriptions (JDs) for various positions.
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Screen and shortlist candidates based on skills, experience, qualifications, and job requirements.
• Conduct initial candidate conversations and assess suitability for open positions.
• Maintain and regularly update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate status, interview feedback, and joining updates.
• Assist in preparing and sharing candidate profiles with clients.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
• Understand recruitment targets, turnaround times, and client expectations.
• Support the team in achieving monthly hiring and recruitment objectives.
• Stay updated on recruitment trends, sourcing techniques, and industry requirements.

• Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong willingness to learn and build a career in recruitment.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
• Good follow-up and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
