Roles and Responsibilities :

HR Operations, Payroll & Statutory Compliance role for a financial-services environment.

The person will essentially be the owner of HR Operations + Payroll + Compliance for around 900 employees across 3 businesses.

Their major responsibilities are:

Payroll: Ensure monthly salary processing is accurate and on time.

HR Operations: Manage employee lifecycle processes such as joining, confirmation, transfers and exits.

Full & Final: Ensure employees leaving the company receive their settlements correctly and on time.

Statutory Compliance: Manage PF, ESIC, TDS, returns, statutory payments, etc.

Audits: Coordinate internal/external audits and close observations.

HRIS: Ensure employee data is accurate in the HR system.

MIS: Prepare HR/payroll reports for leadership.

Process improvement: Identify gaps, improve SOPs and reduce manual errors.

Vendor management: Manage payroll and compliance vendors.
