Job Summary

Anode Electric Private Limited is looking for an experienced HR Manager to independently handle end-to-end HR operations for our manufacturing unit in Jabalpur including manpower management, statutory compliance, payroll, HRMS administration, and employee welfare. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with factory/industrial HR compliance (PF, ESIC, Factory Act) and be comfortable managing both blue-collar (factory workers) and white-collar (office staff) workforce.

Key Responsibilities

1. HRMS & Payroll Management

• Operate HRMS software (attendance, leave, payroll module) with accurate daily data updates
• Process monthly payroll - salary calculation, deductions, attendance-based pay
• Maintain employee database (HRMS + physical records)

2. Statutory Compliance

• PF (Provident Fund) registration, monthly contribution, and return filing (ECR)
• ESIC registration, monthly contribution, and return filing
• Labour Welfare Fund, Professional Tax, Bonus Act, and Gratuity compliance
• Maintain registers and file returns required under the Factory Act
• Handle renewal, claims, and documentation of insurance policies (Group Mediclaim, Workmen Compensation/EPLI)
• Contract labour (CLRA) compliance, where applicable
• Keep documentation audit-ready for government inspections

3. Manpower & Recruitment

• Manpower planning for factory workers and office staff
• End-to-end recruitment (sourcing, interview coordination, offer letters) from shop floor to management level
• Handle onboarding and induction process
• Manpower budgeting aligned with production requirements

4. Employee Relations & Welfare

• Handle grievances for factory workers and office staff
• Manage disciplinary actions, show-cause notices, and domestic enquiry procedures
• Coordinate employee welfare activities (safety, canteen, transport facility)
• Liaise with union/worker committee, where applicable

5. Policy & Documentation

• Draft and implement HR policies (leave policy, code of conduct, etc.)
• Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience/relieving letters
• Manage exit process - full & final settlement, exit interviews

6. Reporting

• Provide monthly HR MIS reports to management (headcount, attrition, compliance status)
• Maintain statutory compliance tracker with due-date reminders

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with HRMS software (Zoho People, Keka, greytHR, or similar industry-standard tools)
• Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, and Labour Laws (not just theoretical)
• Actual hands-on experience in return filing (not just supervisory)
• Proficiency in MS Excel for attendance/payroll data
• Manufacturing/Factory HR background - mandatory
• Good communication skills to work with both workers and management

Preferred

• Experience in Wire, Cable, or similar heavy manufacturing industry
• Direct coordination experience with labour law consultants/compliance vendors
