Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to join a leading construction and logistics company in Mauritius. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of human resource management, employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company requirements.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave records, and personnel files.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
- Coordinate payroll processing, salary administration, and employee benefits.
- Monitor employee performance and coordinate performance appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.
- Manage workforce planning and coordinate with department heads regarding staffing requirements.
- Support employee training, development, and welfare activities.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Coordinate HR activities for construction sites, logistics operations, and office staff as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in HR management is required.
- Experience in the construction or logistics industry will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR documentation.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Mauritius.
