Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR professional with 3–4 years of experience to manage and drive day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role will involve end-to-end recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, employee engagement, performance management, HR documentation and coordination with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, consultants and other channels.
• Screen and shortlist candidates based on role requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Ensure timely closure of open positions.

2. Employee Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

• Manage joining formalities, documentation and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure timely completion of employee documentation and HR records.
• Coordinate induction and orientation programs.

3. HR Operations & Employee Records

• Maintain accurate and updated employee records.
• Manage attendance and leave records and coordinate with employees/managers for regularisation.
• Support payroll inputs and ensure timely submission of relevant employee data.
• Prepare HR MIS, reports and dashboards as required.
• Ensure adherence to company HR policies and processes.

4. Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities and organizational events.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving employee morale, collaboration and workplace culture.

5. Performance Management

• Performance appraisal and review process.
• Track KRAs/KPIs, performance reviews and feedback.
• Support managers in ensuring timely completion of performance-related processes.
• Assist in identifying performance gaps and training requirements.

6. HR Policies & Compliance

• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to HR practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Support statutory compliance and other HR-related requirements as applicable.

7. HR Communication & Coordination

• Draft HR communications, employee announcements, policy communications and official HR emails.
• Act as a point of contact for employees for routine HR queries and concerns.
• Coordinate effectively with different departments to ensure smooth HR operations.

What We're Looking For

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in HR
• MBA/PGDM in HR
• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and HRMS platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR processes.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and people-focused approach.
