Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Executive with 23 years of hands-on experience to support the end-to-end HR function across our Kochi and Coimbatore plants. You will manage day-to-day HR operations, support employee relations and engagement, and help ensure compliance with labor regulations. You will work closely with leadership and plant operations teams to make sure HR practices support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Operations: Manage onboarding and offboarding (offer letters, joining formalities, exit clearances, full and final settlement support) and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Payroll and Benefits: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime), and administer benefits such as PF, ESI, insurance, and gratuity with finance and external vendors.
• Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and help build a positive, inclusive, respectful workplace across both plants.
• Performance Management: Support appraisal cycles, goal-setting, and feedback processes, including follow-ups and documentation.
• Policies and Compliance: Implement and update HR policies and SOPs, and ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and statutory requirements, including registers, returns, and audit support.
• Recruitment Support: Assist with end-to-end hiring, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and closing offers, for both plant and corporate roles.
• Training and Development: Coordinate training programs, induction sessions, and employee engagement activities.
• HR Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR MIS and dashboards (headcount, attrition, attendance, hiring status) for management.
• Plant Coordination: Travel between and coordinate with the Kochi and Coimbatore plants as needed to provide consistent HR support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred). HR certifications are an advantage.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles, preferably in a manufacturing, plant-based, or sustainability-focused organization.
• Working knowledge of onboarding, HR documentation, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Practical exposure to employee relations and a good understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Factories Act, etc.).
• Ability to interpret and implement HR policies.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with HRIS or HR software; comfortable working with HR data and basic reporting.
• Fluency in English and Tamil; Malayalam is a plus.
