About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Research & Benchmarking: Analyze industry best practices, labor trends, and organizational needs to propose progressive workplace guidelines.
- Drafting & Documentation: Draft clear, unambiguous, and business-aligned HR policies, procedures, and FAQs. Eliminate bureaucratic jargon in favor of clear, accessible rules.

- Edge-Case & Impact Analysis: Evaluate the second-order consequences of proposed policy shifts before execution to protect company operations while maintaining employee trust.
- Compliance & Audits: Partner with legal and risk teams to ensure company policies comply with local employment laws and corporate governance standards.
- Feedback Loops: Track policy compliance, gather feedback from business units, and iterate on existing guidelines to improve operational clarity.
What We Look For
1. Education & Experience
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in HR, Corporate Strategy, Legal Operations, or Policy Writing. Freshers with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Degrees Preferred: Bachelors or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Journalism, Public Policy, or related analytical disciplines.
2. Core Competencies & Traits
- First-Principles Thinking: Ability to ask “Why does this rule exist?” and redesign frameworks rather than blindly copying standard templates.
- Exceptional Writing & Communication: Ability to translate complex legal or business guidelines into simple, structured, and easy-to-understand documents.
- Structured Problem Solving: Comfort with ambiguity and a strong eye for detail—able to spot edge cases, loopholes, and operational friction points early.
- Empathy with Firmness: Ability to balance employee advocacy with organizational goals and compliance obligations.
- Data & Process Orientation: Capability to review metrics, usage patterns, and feedback data to optimize policies over time.
