Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate statutory compliance relating to *Provident Fund (PF/EPF), Employees State Insurance (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT)* and other applicable payroll-related statutory requirements. The role involves payroll compliance, statutory calculations, returns, payments, employee registrations, reconciliations, inspections, audits and maintaining statutory records.

PF / EPF Compliance

PF / EPF Compliance

• Manage end-to-end PF compliance, including ECR filing, payments, UAN/KYC, transfers and withdrawals.
• Verify PF deductions and employer contributions and reconcile with payroll records.
• Handle EPFO notices, inspections, queries and documentation.

ESIC Compliance

• Manage ESIC registration, contributions, payments and employee records.
• Verify deductions and reconcile ESIC with payroll.
• Handle ESIC queries, inspections, notices and statutory documentation.

Professional Tax (PT)

• Manage PT applicability, deductions, payments and statutory returns.
• Maintain registrations, challans and compliance records.
• Coordinate with state authorities for notices and queries.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance

• Verify PF, ESIC, PT and other statutory deductions in payroll.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance calendars, records and MIS.
• Support statutory audits, inspections and internal/external compliance requirements.
