HR – Business Partner

Job Description:  

The HR – Business Partner at Karur Vysya Bank will serve as a strategic partner to the business units, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters. The role involves collaborating with business leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives, driving employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development. The HR Business Partner will also be responsible for managing employee relations, performance management, and facilitating training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.

 

1. Support recruitment activities for the assigned grades across Branch Banking and Liability Sales verticals for the division. 

2. Oversee employee deployment and role allocation aligned with manpower plan. 

3. Partner with CO-HR on manpower planning and timely fulfilment of branch and DO requirements. 

4. Ensure seamless onboarding experience, including workstation allocation, laptops/tabs, system access, salary account opening, ID issuance, and other joining formalities. 

5. Drive “Business Connect” initiatives through branch visits, structured interactions, and employee engagement activities as per the calendar. 

6. Address employee grievances and ensure timely and effective resolution. 

7. Monitor confirmation processes and initiate necessary interventions for extension cases. 

8. Support performance management process by ensuring timely completion of self-reviews and manager feedback.

 9. Facilitate Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) in partnership with CO-HR, managers and employees. 

10. Coordinate learning and development initiatives in collaboration with the L&D team. 

11. Manage employee exits and retention processes in coordination with stakeholders. 

12. Monitor attendance auto-closure, leave authorization, and TA bill processing. 

13. Ensure adherence to HR policies and provide accurate, timely MIS reports to CO-HR.
